Job Description

Private Client who specializes in providing liquidity for alternative assets funds including private equity, venture capital, leveraged buyouts, structured credit, private debt, real estate, feeder funds, funds of funds, life insurance policies, and natural resources.

We are interviewing candidates for Vice President and Senior Vice President

Compensation depends on experience!

Seeking a well qualfied individual who have the ability to (1) Lead in the design, (2) Build-out & Maintenance of a distributed, scalable and resilient platform.  Vice President | Senior Vice President will be responsible for the strategic repository for enterprise data and the firm’s platform for all quantitative models related to pricing and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Quantitative Models | Pricing & Risk Management:

Build classes for pricing and risk models, including lifecycle event modeling for cash flow evolution.
Build market data and books-and-records objects for accurate close-of-business reporting.
Help manage a centralized Data Lake to unify and manage data across the firm.
Build GUIs for end users to easily access and drill down on data through customizable reports.
Help refine low-friction SDLC that meets audit requirements while ensuring speedy time-to-market.
Build systems for monitoring data accuracy through automated data validations.
Help refine testing platform and user acceptance tests on models and data sets, with a built-in escalation workflow for failing tests.

Must be excellent with Quantative Analytics

Uses mathematical or statistical techniques to solve practical issues in finance including risk management, securities trading, derivative valuation, or financial market regulation.

Determines the efficacy of existing and new financial models, products, and analytics.

Coordinates with financial analysts to analyze trading strategies, market conditions, and trading system performance to establish quantitative techniques.

Works with product development teams to validate and implement quantitative solutions.

Assists in the development and testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with specifications or scope of work.

Establishes data collection methods and recommends updates when necessary.

Creates methods of assessing and measuring company performance regarding environmental, social, and governance issues.

Interprets financial analysis results and prepares summary reports of findings

Skills, Experiences

Would Like Candidate to Have

8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, preferably in the finance industry.
Working knowledge of scripting languages, Linux, Networking protocols, security, and file systems.
Highly motivated, well-organized, and result-driven professional with strong multi-tasking skills.
Balance strong, strong technical skills, analytical mindset yet commercially focused.
Team player with the social skills and personality required to influence large team efforts.

 

Additional Requirements

Bachelor of Science (STEM Field)

Experience Python, Sybase IQ, and SQL preferred

Extensive Object Oriented programming experience required

Experience with investment or financial service group preferred

Experience as a front office technologist in the finance industry preferred
